damn i flowers up on my post, what i meant to say, what else makes the 1000 better than the 606?

I have the 2000xl and the mv8000 I like both.... once I LEARNED THE MV I put my 2000xl n the closet... I'm going to demo the mc808... if it has a nice library and controlablity of the tr808 I will purchase it... by the way, that mpc1000 is a bunch of garbage... its a big BIG step backwards from the MV8000... IMO 8)

the 606 looks cheap and sounds cheap

that's my impression from trying in the store

i was hopeful about it from specs alone, but once i tried it: bleh.
