Dang, I feel like Nas, I stay having to defend myself....ok so be it, here we go again:

hfinal? How about you read my user name and realize that I'm either now or was a DJ and realize that I know how to use "the crates" very well. 10+ plus years in the US and overseas. If I could find what I was looking for in "the crates" then I would use them, and I would not have posted the question in the 1st place.

See this is why people in the music industry act like a$$holes. There is always someone saying something just plain fucin stupid and trying to belittle someone else.......matter of fact.......if anyone else wants to be a superstar and get their "50 cent" 15 mins of fame coming at me.....now is your chance....do what you must so you can get ya shine on....

Your diggin for the wrong stuff. Look for Ethnic drum records. They have a huge array of percussion or "filler sounds" as u call them. I used to be a "filler sound" junkie. Or u could always do like I do and buy a mic and play all those "filler sounds" in and sample them. I sample everthing through the mic man from pots pans to keychains and claps snares kicks EVERTHING

Jacpot & Smoove03....I f*cks with yall. This is what a forum is all about. People helping each other out any way they can. It's good to know that I'm not the only "filler sound Junkie" that belongs to this forum.

OK....here it goes "hello everyone, I'm glad I'm here, my name is A-Sharp and I'm a filler sound Junkie...." :?

you ever think that seasoned producers are sick of new jack questions like this, that are best left up to yourself to find the answer to in the first place, are annoying and that's why you end up getting dogged?

"Seasoned" producers wouldn't waste their time "dogging" individuals trying to gain knowledge unknown to someone. They would be more focused on keeping their skills up to par so that "new jacks" don't take there place. Plus the fact the King of Kings "Jesus" was dogged all the way till his death so I consider myself blessed to be in good company.

We ain't gonna get into religion cause this isn't the proper forum for such things plus wars have been fought over religion with some still going on to this day...however.........

Revelation 17:14

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Lamb of God = Jesus

therefore

Jesus = King of Kings........nuff said

Another thing about fillers or beat supplements or whatever you wanna call em...

I'll get a little chunk of a sound from a dusty ass record, sample it, run it through the asr-10 and run all sort of crazy delay effects through it and make it sound like it's just behind the beat, tinglin the drums spine or somethin crazy. **** with delay effects because like I said before you can turn shit into anything...

Yeah, I feel you on that.....A crew I used to run with called "The Midnight Marauders(ATL)" used to run their samples thru an ASR-10..... you definitly gotta a point there. To tell you the truth I was gonna cop one of them joints (ASR) awhile ago just cause I liked the effects it had and what I heard a sound sould like before it went in and after it came out. Good point again, well said.
