new OS suggestions/wish list

i know it could be ages yet,
but why not discuss things still not addressed in the last OS update, no pie in the sky stuff......just realistic and acheivable improvements.

perhaps if its all in advance :ie - not gripes about a dissapointing recent update, we might be in luck.

hopfully they will add the simult function back to the mpc's os...it was in the 2000 and 2000xl......it is a great function for having diffrent filter settings for each layer.....or they could just have diffrent filter settings for each layer.....then we wouldent even need simult....

Gddamn , just make this piece bug-free and i'm the happiest man on earth.

i wish there was (its very simple too) an 'all' parameter for when editing multiple things - like : when editing the program - filter or tune or pitch etc.

so that when a pad is selected to be changed, the pad number/sample is displayed , or scroll the datawheel to select 'all pads/samples'.

or even a range of pads/samples selected with a hi-lo limit selector.

[very much like in seq edit : the notes field at the bottom left of the screen shows 'Notes:' all, and successive pad hits selects/deselects multiple items.]

there are more possibilities for this approach, i just hate changing all my values one at a time when they're intended to share characteristics.

i'm assuming that the recordable track mutes and the improved usb connectivity is possible, since it's been implemented on the new 2.5k os.

Ability to apply different envlopes and filters to different samples allocated to one pad.

i believe everyone would expect akai to fix the exisiting bugs. but some features that are capable of being implemented as i stated above would be nice to have as well.

they added so much crap to the 1000 i'ma be the last one to complain about anything akai needs to do.

...and yes, every company should obviously take care of all known bugs, but that last OS update was crazy...

yeah i hear ya. no complaints here. the bugs arent killing my workflow. i wouldnt expect any newer features anytime soon. but i'm sure that since the new 1000bk is out that akai will be looking to fix the existing bugs, just as they did with the original 1k.
