Alright, i've used the search button and didn't exactly find wat i was looking for. maybe i dind't use the right key words? but wat i wanna know is that is there a way to connect my mpc2000xl to my PC i don't have a zip drive or anything and I jsut wanna transfer files directly from my computer. Like, is there an SCSI/USB cable or a MIDI/USB cable?

your best bet would be to buy an internal multicard drive for your mpc instead, since those cards hold more data than zip disks. then, have another multicard reader for your computer, so you can swap files much quicker and more reliable than zip disks.

here's a link to the multicard drive kit for the 2000xl...

if you dont have a multicard reader/writer for your computer, you can find them at best buy, target, circuit city, comp usa, as well as anyplace else online...

you can use two zip drives like i used to if you wanna go the Zip route.

one scsi drive for the mpc and one usb drive for the computer. its easy as hell to transfer sounds between the two. you can goto ebay and find zip drives for $20 bucks.
