Foot Pedal Kick Trigger??

I was just wondering if there would be some way to hook up one of those kick triggers for electronic drum sets and midi it up to the 2kxl for my kicks. I can play drums decently but I find it play everything with my hands. Obviously this is mostly for live playing but I was just wondering if anyone has done this before and if its possible. Thanks

shouldnt be a problem, as long as you have some sort of box that'll translate the trigger into a midi on/off message that the mpc can resond to.
