how the hell do you get the keygroup thing to work. Ive read the manual backwards and forwords. When I go to key group filled an press window it opens up good but when I press "1" in the create keygroup section it turns it back to "0" after i press enter. waht am i not doing right? can some on give me a quick run down list of what steps to follow

Ok when you create a new program using the "window" button..yes thats the orange one, While in program mode and it asks you to create a new program! go look below that where it'll say "DRUM"...highlight that with your cursor and turn the Data Jog wheel....Your next selction will say Keygroup. When you make a keygroup it'll consist of only 1 sample (of course you can layer three other samples underneath it if you choose) and this will essentially give you your 16 pad tuning...actually 96 pad tuning...LOL....it is very simple getting around on this unit...there are lots of windows so do some experimenting and press the window button as often as possible to try and uncover features....cuz the manual Sux!!
