dublicating

ok, so i keep doing this thing where i make a 2 bar drum pattern, and then go on to a bass or whatever and realise i actually want my sequence to be 4 bars.

if i create a 2 bars on the end of the sequence, obviously theres 2 bars of blank drums.

how can i copy the first two bars of the drums to bars 3-4 without just re-entering the whole drum pattern.

in cubase terms, i wanna do this;

drums ---------------
| 2bar | 2bar |
---------------
bass | four bars |
---------------

and that would be the sequence. you get me?

i did this alot back in the day as well.now how you fix it i dont know but now i always make 4 bar loops.

There is a bar copy function that I use all of the time to do this. I am not in front of the MPC, but you shouldbe able to get this handled using the book.

In the Main Screen, hit F2 (Edit), then hit F2 again (BARS). Copy bar 1 to 2, and copy it to After bar: 2.
