SCSI CD Drive-Loading OS

Is it possible to load the OS from an External SCSI CD Drive if u have the OS on the cd? If so how is it properly done. Cause the floppy drive is **** up. This is the MPC2000 im refering to. Please help me out.

I know it works on the XL...I did it myself.

I don't think it would work on the 2000 Classic, because think about it....the OS tells it how to read the SCSI drive. How can it know to check the SCSI Drive for the OS...if it hasnt already loaded the OS to tell it to do that?

thanks to all who replied im good now. i jus redid da motherboard and fixed da floppy drive so now i can load from da floppy disk.
