NO SOUND ON PADS MPC3k

Sup everyone. This is a new problem for me.

Im assigning sounds to PADS on the MPC 3000. When I preview the sounds in the Program/Sounds option and press PLAY on the soft key I can hear the sample just fine. Now when I press on the PAD I get nothing! Even though if I try to record a sequence by playing the sample on the pad it does play it back after the recording is done but does I cant hear the sound when pressing the pad. Weird shit. anyone know.--+

If I preview the sound I can hear it great. During RECORD MODE I tap the pads and do not hear anything. Although after I review the recorded sequence I can hear what I tapped out. Now I was fiddling around with the MIDI settings to record BATTERY into PT LE 7 but I went back and reset all settings.

I try FULL LEVEL and still nothing. Didnt think it would but I appreciate the reply. Shit is boggling me cause it all worked last night. Damn.
