Question about main outs and 8 outs

Hey guys im about to buy a 2000xl that has a few problems. The biggest problem being that the main outs arent working. It also has the 8-outs but the cord connecting it inside is missing. Now heres my question, if i were to just get the cord that missing, theoretically i wouldnt have to get the main outs fixed, correct? Also where can i get a replacement slider at?

I know exactly what MPC you are talkin about. If im not mistaken its on Ebay. Im no expert but I know enough about the MPC. But if the cord is missing then its no good inless there is some way of molding the cable back on and if the main outs arent workin i wouldnt get it inless you have the money to cover everything its gonna cost to have it repaired. I wouldnt pay ova 500 fo it jus because of the price you will have to pay to get it fixed. Jus my two centz.
