directory error?

directory error?

somtimes when i save i get this directory error but when i save agin it saves successfully, but this directory error message doesnt harm the song the song gets saved regardless? is this a bug if so can i call it mine?

You´ll have to knuckle fight all of us who also have the problem and especially the guys who started a dedicated thread about a month ago covering this very issue.
After you´ve defeated us all, the bug wil be yours. Until then it´s public domain.

i was having this problem when i had a bunch on samples that i downloaded from the net. that finally helped me make the decision to go straight vinyl. since then i've had no problems. not sure if it was a corupted file or maybe just to many files in the same folder? i think i heard somtin about having to many files in one folder fuks it up.

well i also believe that this is an issue with # of files so i i disagree with your opinions in that thread. i am also very organized with my files and folders and subfolders. i don't know if its a problem saving too many to the root since i stay organized but a couple of my sub folders contained more than 2000 wavs and i only had problems when saving recorded samples, not when transfering from comp. but when i reformatted the drive and started recording and saving vinyl only i have had no problems.
