to jaem, I do use my equipment, but I've settled in to how I know how to make a beat on the mpc.,.,which gets the job done, but lately, snce reading threads and seeing what the rest of the mpc family is doing.,.,I was willing to try some new things out, hence the reason for this thread...I hardly ever use the swing quantization because for the most part I turn off the quantize and free hand it....gives it a livelier non-robotic feel....but truth b told, trial an error sure is another method of learning things....jacpot, I'll b sure to try that setting on my hihats.,.,.,good loox

I usually only do that to my hats when they seem to be hitting to fast in the beat and I need to slow them down
