Mpc1000 VS. Mpc2000xl

I foolishly sold by 2k for next to nothing cus I was supposed to be headin to the states...now I gota buy a new mpc.
Im hearin a lot about the 1000 and its been up dated to 2.50 version.
If any1 can tell me what Im going to miss from the 2000xl such has time stretching capabilites...most importantly can you zone on the 1k.

On the 2k you could loop your sample and your given the bpm...then u could stretch your sample to different bpm's instead of normal time stretching...does the 1k have this?

The 1k could do everything the 2ks could do now with a lil more added. The 1k even has timestretch presets

it has no MTC or MMC. which is major if your tracking beats to PC or hd 8)

Wrong. It has clock, which is really all that you need to sync sequencers and drum machines to recorders for dumping tracks.
