INTERNAL 250 MB ZIP DRIVE FOR MPC 2000XL

I KNOW A PROFESSIONAL COMPUTER GUY WHO IS SELLING ONE BUT HE DOESN'T KNOW A THING ABOUT MPC'S SO SHOULD I BUY IT AND ENTRUST HIM TO INSTALL IT ? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE MOST WELCOME PLEASE.

i'd get a cf reader instead, if you are really wanting a zip though, go ahead and do it.

yes you can (i installed a cf reader in my 'white' MPC) there are a few treads in this forum that talk extensively about cf card readers and how to install 'em and where to buy 'em.

My set up is like this, I have external zip, external hard drive, external cd-rom, and the generic internal floppy drive..,.,.To all: is there still space in my mpc for a cf reader .,.,?

IS THERE A WAY to do it without having to get rid of my floppy? i like being able to import and export by all means necessary

floppies are sooooooo old school. :lol: but seriously, to answer your question, no. unless you get an external floppy. but i don't think you have room to install that with everything else you have going on.

Is there a specfic kind of CF reader I should use ? I know this store near me that sells these CF reader but they have multiple slots that are all a different size each are those okay?
