Whats up everyone i am a new 60 users here (switch from 1k). I am up and running for the most part but their are 2 small things i cant find in the manual or figure a work around. How can i change the time signature? Its at 8/4 and i can view the time sgnature but cant change it. Also when i sequence a drum pattern over a few tracks and then wish to sample something, when i return to the sequence mode my pattern is gone...............is this normal? I am running os 2.12 and os 3 will added soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think the erasing of the sequence when sampling is one of the inconveniences of the older OS, it doesn't occur on v. 3.10

for time sign., hit erase, then initialize (F2)...

otherwise, hit that help button while you still have it!

Thanks for your reply....when i hit erase the f2 is for erasing all bars. If i go into view time sginarute f2 is then for newt sequence. The help button does really help on this because i can5t even highlight the time signature on the main screen. also i just noticed that i cant change the number of bars.

I will go through the manual again but if any can tell if these can be fixed or worked around. thank you again.

And yes after one night i think i see the importance of the os upgrade and will be getting it as soon as possible!

Thanks again kersey i got it now. You have to create a new sequence. Im so used to the 1000 where you turn it on, load you sounds and go with 4/4 being default. this 60 remember your last settings so the prior owner must have set it up for 8/4.

Now im awaiting the os to stop that silly sequence erasing problem.

Thanks again.

The 1k is obviously a better sampler with os2.10 but the 60 is a full blown sequencer. The 1k sequencer has always been good to me but when seqeuncer several unit i have headaches as i am not that midi savvy. but with 4 outs on the 60 life should be easier. And i actually love the sound better on the 60.

You don't have to create a new sequence everytime to change the time signature/bars.

Go to erase then press Soft Key 2 to select Initialize. You can change everything there.

good looking fam....i got it set up right now. I just got os3 so im 100$ minus scsi but i can live without that. I see what everyone means in regards to os 3

If any reading this is considering get a 60.......make sure it has os3. and if it doesnt do yourself a favor and order it quickly!
