mpc 2000 o.s disk

My o.s disk for my mpc 2000 reads disk read error when I load it. I tried to buy a new one on ebay, and they never sent it. Is there a way I can download a 1.72 o.s disk for my mpc2000 (not XL) and if so where do I go and how do I do it and is there a fee

why would you pay for the os? its free, man. gotta search before you go givin your money to any old person!

so how would I do it just download the os onto my computer and stick my floppy disk into the computer and it will work. Or do I have to stick the floppy disk into the computer and then download it. I have never had to do this before. does the disk have to be formatted before I do that?

1. download the above file Smoov gave you.

2. double click the downloaded file.

3. drag the EXE and SYS file to a BLANK, fat formatted floppy.

Now use that floppy disk as your startup disk..
