CPU Address Error??

in ur opinion..is it software or hardware related...
I have a ext warr through gutair cent......

I'm not sure if this is your sitation but I had folders with corupted files in them so when I open try to open that folder I would get the cpu error.I got a new card last night and while I was tranfering files i found about 5 weird files that I couldn't tranfer or delete.Also I opened up the folder on the computer and the files were all alien language crptic text....SO I saved what I could and am starting over.My friend who is a bit more savy with the p.c. thinks It has something to do with not closing your window before you pull out the usb/cf from your computer.I guess I'll see i f this works out.

i had this problem. my mpc was broken. u might wanna send if off for repairs. seriously, i think it might be an overheating issue, for me anyway i saw that error about every ten minutes of using the machine. pretty sure its hardware, not software. but then it might just b a general error msg when something goes wrong.

the more I think about it, I have a virus on pc that is now dead because of it......
its a virus that attacks the bios called a "chh" virus....
I asked before if a virus could "infect" a mpc and the more I think about it, it would..
if this virus Is attacking the bios then its written in a lower level program. U know the 1's and 0's type of lanuage.
the mpc has a cpu unit inside correct???I mean, I have draged and dropped wav samples from my p.c. to the MPC hd and cf..
do u use PC with unit and use downloaded samples or kits, anyone????
