ok, i finaly decided to go for a 2500 instead of a 1k, i just want to know if the EXM128 fits the 2500, or is it just for the 1k?

well i hope to **** it fits cos i just ordered mines right that second !!!! ha, nah mate it says on the turnkey site that its for akai mpc 1000 AND 2500, and its an official akai product by the look ov it to !!!

yeh, its all cool, on the official akai site it specifys that the exm128 works for both the MPC1000 and the MPC2500, If your lookin for a cheaper unofficial version then you should check the thread in the mpc1000 forum they got loads o' information all bout alternative types of memory. I just orded one for my mpc 2500 for 20 pounds (30 dollars) an ill tell if it works ok.
