moog voyager samples for mpc1000/2500/4000

you mean vst....

no way can a vst do what a voyager can do. with the touch pad you can pan and filtersweep and do loads of othe funky shit that no vst can do.

they do however cover the basic sounds.... lookup minimogue vst and you'll find a nice one...

SO actually having a mini-moog would b good to have as part of the roster on my list of equipment? I would if I had the money, this is the same keyboard that u can vocode on right? Shit I just need to get my beats to the majors.,.,If I got paid major I'd buy more equipment.,.,mos definitely.,.

moogs don't vocode. yet... they have an audio in though so you can mangle your voice up in the moog filter.

if you want a keyboard that sounds similair to the moog (nothing does it exactly) then go for an alesis ion. they are a fantastic synth for the money and you can vocode through them.. they also have 8 voices so its not just about playing one key at a time....

I'VE SEEN what that machine could do.,.,I spent hours fiddlin wit sh*t i don't have in my own lab @ guitar center or sam ash.,.,the moog can do that voice on the mic like "computer love" i dunno if u know what i'm talkin about.,.,but its that old sh*t off the soundtrack of menace II society

modified it so that the longer sounds only work with noteon rather than one hit so now you can adjust the lenght of these samples running time...

i've also trimmed up and improved the quality of a couple of these samples....

thanks man. I am seriously considering getting a Voyager. At the moment I'm just using soft synths but I want to start collecting hardware synths and I think I want to get an anologue synth. Do you think the Voyager RME is a good buy? Do you think I would be better off saving money and getting an AM synth w/ polyphony or is the monophonic voyager the way to go?

depends on what you want to do.

monophonic synths are great fun and the voyager is clearly the best although if you want another mono thats really good look out for the dave smith instruments evolver as well. that thing is truly great fun and will be my next purchase.

as for poly synths go for nord, alesis or roland. the sh-201 when its released looks like a great little synth. i've a nord lead 2x and that is a very good poly...
