From Turntable to Comp to MPC

for those of you who mess with your samples on the computer before putting them into your MPC: How does your sample go from turntable to finally the MPC? Eg. turntable---> mixer --->Sound card--->DAW---->zip disk---->MPC.
I want to work with my samples in Logic Audio before putting them into my MPC, so I'm looking for the setup that will give me the least drop in sound quality.

Actually, the best set-up is the one you've described in your example. There is a cool tool available at mpc2000xl dot com called MPC Editor that makes it easier to drop your edited samples into your MPC. They have a trial version you can use for 30 days. Other than that, you're on the right track...
