Hi. I've Got a Mac and an MPC 1000. The guy I bought it off gave me a sample Cd with it On the box it says the samples are compatible with all formats including Akai. It reckons that the first track is something to do with Akai as well.
When you put the CD in the computer track 1 is invisible.
It's cool learning how to load samples in one by one and assigning them and stuff but it would be great to just shove em all in at once and get on with the programming side of things.
If it's some kind of program thing (can you tell I'm a bit out of my depth?) that has it all premapped out, can I make my own on the computer as well?
