hi everyone, hope ya'll are feeling good.
i'm getting ready to turn some of my tracks into MP3's, load them to my ipod, and use them on live gigs. ( i'm a drummer and the tracks are mostly percussion). i will be going to a friend's house who has logic and pro tools for this.
here's my question...... i doesn't seem as if i can just bring the folder on my portable drive and open it on his computer. or can I ? i just tried to open the sequence data on my ibook and there's nothing to read it. is this what will happen when i open the folder at his house without bringing the MPC 1000? what does he need on his computer to read the mpc 1000 folder, including the sequence data
at this point, i am assuming i have to bring the mpc and use the audio outs to pro tools and then transfer, which is the way it was explained in th e last thread about this.
i did try re-sampling but damn the sound was WACK !! can you say thin
but hey, in a hurry? why not??
