Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I'M ONE OF YOU NOW!!!! 8)

I just switched from the mv8k.. so i don't know if i would call that a upgrade or downgrade.. but who cares? lol... i like it anyway.. I been readin up on it for a while and i been learnin from the questions that other people ask.. So i would like to thank everybody for the tips that you gave other folks.. 8)

Next week i should have my module and cables so i can get to work.. Now i'm just learnin the basics and readin the manual again...

I been usin roland and emu gear since i started producin so this is my first MPC so if yall got any tips or anything that i should look out for then please share.. i'm goin back to the mpc now... just wanted to let everybody know what i'm rockin now.. peace 8)

You made the right choice. Just check out this Forum for more info. I learned alot from being on here.

Biggest advise I could give is to learn your mpc as a standalone first. Learn the ins and outs and what the machine can do just as a sampler sequencer before fuking with midi.

yeah man, i explored my mpc for over 5 years before i touched midi lol. thats a little extreme probably, but for me it worked.

Im in the process of trading my 1000 for my 2000xlSE. I need to get my hands on the manual though.

lol.. yea everybody look at me crazy when they hear that i sold my 8k and then decided to pick up the 2kxl.. Its a pretty good machine i just wanted somethin alittle different. The only thing that i miss is having everything in one unit. and the vga.. lol.... but oh well....

ddx3216 its a bit pricey but well worth it
