sound like all they use is 808's. some fast steady hats and you in there!!

high hat on quick note repeat
try switching hi hat pattern in part of the loop to faster speed

tight drum programming, double tempo, step edit, and alot of patience..

i havnt been able to pull off any crazy south patterns yet... there are alot of topics about this tho, so search for more info

easy. all 808 drums (generally), tweak em if u want them to sound a bit differnet. Fast hats (not always same boring repeating hats), but just generally fast hats. lay down the 808 clap on the standard 2 and 4 beat. dont do too much with the kick, keep that simple. then add in a 808 snare if u want to hit on the 2 and 4 along with the claps, and a fast drum roll at the end of the 4 for transitions. also if you want that mannie fresh 808 snare thing going on, get the snare on the 2 and 4 count, and find those 2 beats in between the 2 and 4. add in a long 808 sub kick in there and ur set.
this is why dirty south gets little respect from me, drumlines easy as shit to make.

download the tr 909 series, then make sure your note repeat works (you'll need it) and that time correct is on with no swing.

get really really drunk

get a really low, subby kick going on, a tight snare, high hi hats, and no cyms. no rides, no fills, no rolls.

also, be sure not to use interesting drum samples. ONLY use the tr 909 or 808s or whatever.

hihats at 16th note repeat or higher. never alter the volume or pitch. the rest will come naturally...but i probably won't like it.

i dunno, try like 160? it depends on whether you're doubling res or not. i don't know.

you should be able to figure this one out. just know that southern rap these days is just the basic boom bap hip hop beat slowed waaaaaaay down like running molassas - just with hats dropped in like a machine gun.

see ant, that's how u make wack ass dirty south beats. i mean as wack as it is already, you might as well try and make it less wack by atleast having a more creative drum line lol. fills is good, rolls are good. ride cymbal also good once in a while.
