How do i hit a pad without the sound layering over itself?

Now i know there is one shot option
and note on option.

What i would like to do is, regardless of how long the sample is. I would like to hit the pad and everytime i hit it after it starts over as opposed to overlayering itself everytime i hit it.

To sum up, the sample would play until i hit the pad again.

Let me know what yall think.

Thanks everybody this site is very helpful.

make the sample/pad mono instead of poly. go to mode + program then press F3 (PARAMS) then whatever says poly change to mono.

same schit once again

why do you go from thread to thread calling people stupid?

Your self esteem that low?

reading your posts - you have nothing productive to say.

your wasting your own time thinking you might actually hit a nerve.

your track on the last battle was garbage

thats cool tho - I respect the fact that u try...

I want peace and respect on the boards -

I can deal with the bullschit, but I dont want to have to respond to shit like this every time I post.

but If you dont have anything good to say - why post

If u gotta go out of your way to call people stupid maybe you dont think to highly of your self. or maybe even To highly of your self.

just a thought.

but if u still want to go on and on - battle me - let the skill speak for its self.

winner will get braggin rights.

You are right - I never have had to use it.

Each sample I create, I chop to loop perfectly.

If I didnt chop them to loop perfectly then I might of had to look that one up.

Reason being, If u never came across that screen and messed with the settings, then obviously u dont put in no time on the mpc No time equalls no skills. Considering the length of time you had your mpc You have no excuse for that

alright already. why don't both of you just put up a beat against each other and settle this. the original question of this thread was answered. let's move on already.
