Hello all
I own a MPC2000XL, build in a cardreader, all works fine. I made some beats and saved them on my compact flash card. The card is formatted fat (not fat32) because it works on both my PC and my MPC that way.
I now want to back up what i made on my PC, so i can clean up the CompactFlash card and save new beats. The problem i have is this:
I have samples with about 8 to 10 characters, and then a number, for instance, contrabas01, contrabas02, etc. But om my PC it only shows a little, i think 8 characters. This means i have about 10 "contraba" samples in one project. You can see the problem... windows XP doesnt allow me to copy the folder, becuase one sample will overwrite all the others.
Is there a way around this? The obvious one would be, calling them 01contrabas and 02contrabas, but for the sake of alphabetical order, i would rather not do that.
anybody any ideas?
