First of all I wish everyone a good new year! Hopefully it will be a good one! Regarding you, your mpc, your other instruments and whatever …
I have 2 questions regarding the 4k and hopefully someone here can halp me with it:
1) I am looking for the midi control numbers of the mpc 4000! E.g. if I want to record cut off, resonance, … controls via qlink (or if so otherwise) which midi number (control change) do I have to refer too! If anyone has a full table of it (or link to it) and could post it would be great! Actually I expected to find It in the manual but … I simply couldn”t find it!
2) Similar to question 1! Lets say i have a 2 bar loop where I want to add a “crescendo” for my eg snares (all 1/16 notes)! Totally I have 32 1/16 snare hits which I want to start quit, than continuously getting louder and ending “forte” (loud) at the end of the 2nd bar! This all should be done with velocity control (and if there is an other way its ok, too! Main thing is to get a nice crescendo)! How can I do that? I managed meanwhile to do it via qlink changing contol change 7 volume but it doesn’t give me the result I want it to have! I think velocity should sound better!
Any advice is appreciated! Thanx in advance and have fun …
