Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

it was the decay like said above. all my chops were the same length and i didnt change tempo and they still didnt flow right. its because of decay.

i know if i'm gonna change tempo or rearrange the peices to make a new moldy then i'll have adjust the zones to make sure they cut right. i hadn't gotten to that yet but thats common sense.

I dont have to change the zones. I always rearrange the slices into my own melody and i never have to change where the zones are cut at. If its looped correctly then zoned u shouldnt need to change a thing.

a lot of musicians dont play perfectly on beat so adjust ment is necessary. the only way i could it working the way you calim is if the musician played PERFECTLY on beat and there was no swing in the tempo. ourside of electronic music, that is rarely the case. good for you though, i guess.
