Does 1000 come in black now?

I just realized that in the akai homepage in the 1000 product page, it has a pic of the 1000 in black looking like the 2500. Anyone knows about this? If it comes in Black now it looks sweet..... check this link to see what i mean:

When did the black version come out? Do the new 1000 models come in black and ship with the OS2.10? thx

yes it's out and no it doesn't come with 2.1 it comes with 2.0, you have to download 2.1. welcome to the boards. look around here and read some threads, you will see that this has been brought up and talked about several times
