How do you put the Beat on the computer

I went to song mode and have to song layed out. Now what do I do to sent it through the USB. The whole song. I want to burn it.

. I think u have to resample or somethin to do it via USB. But USB is for transfering sounds and shit on the MPC not songs(sequences). Record the beat into a recording program. Thats what the outs are for. I dont own a 1k but im goin off of memory when i did own one.

dominique...over the last couple of days you've asked like 14 questions that show that you have not read the mpc1000 manual. please, please read it so we don't have to answer basic questions. this is described in the manual under resampling main outs...look it up...

comon man, you gotta learn your self. The problem is, too many newbies are buying up mpcs nowadays. Stop watching MTV cribs.

If you commit to buying a musical instrument, learn it, or just quit.

some ppl just dont learn that way man...i thought that was the point of this thing was to help answer questions...if u dont wanna answer the questionn then dont...but we dont need to rub anything in. dude maybe try buying the samplekings dvd...maybe seeing it will help better

everyone knows that i would be the first person to help someone, but there comes a time when you have to help yourself first. just as easily as you can read this forum, you can read the manual.

if you don't understand what you've read in the manual or have specific questions to help you understand, then by all means post up.

I transfer my stuff by taking the SPDIF out of the MPC, running that into my MOTU8282 and record whatever I want in real time into Logic. I can run the full mix or solo stuff on the MPC if I need it seperate. It's then on the arrange page exactly how I programmed it.

dinerdog, I use the S/PDIF connection as well to track into Nuendo, since my Echo Mia only has two 1/4 inputs for ananlog, which I use to track the rest of my hardware from my mixer. It's time consuming given the limitations, but I can live with it since I usually don't track everything into Nuendo. Alot of times, I'll just record everything from my mixer to Wavelab. It all depends on what I'm working with.
