Anybody install the MCD cardreader themselves?

I'm about to cop the MCD for my xl. I just wanted to hear from those that have installed the cardreader themselves.

Is there anything I should definitely watch out for when installing it?

Any quirky things that might not be mentioned in the instructions?

If you use an external zip also, does the cardreader load faster?

Just give me some general feedback on how you like it or dislike it.

No I didn't search at first. But right after I posted this question I did. I found some good info.

I still have one question that I need answered. I'm ready to purchase this http://www.synchrotech.com/products/card-rw_32.html cardreader. But I need to know if I'm going to have to purchase that little power cable and the data cable. Anybody know for sure?

can you direct me to that link please and also I bought the VST one is that easier to self install ?
