making ur own acapellas?

how would i make my own acapellas....i downloaded the black album acapellas...but the back ground music wasnt completely gone...i could still hear it but it was very,very low....i was wondering , does the record company release the acapella or are the made...if they are made does any body know how its done? thx yall......1

What do you mean 'made'

An acapella is simply a song without music....Those 'pellas are official. The Veeeeeerry low music your straining your ears to listen to is leakage either from the desk or the head fones when the artist was recording.

but hes right, all that you are hearing is leakage, most likely from the phones cuz most rappers like them sh*ts blaring.

you can try to make your own accaplllas with the original song and an instrumental version an try to phase out the beat, but theis is difficult and inconsistent.

or use an eq killer, but dont expect too much...

Record your vocals on a seperate track(s) and later you just MUTE all other tracks and/or SOLO the vocal track(s)..

If you don't have a mutlitracker, wear headphones and singalong while recording into your recorder..

you can get singles of songs and they will have the accapella. buy more 12".
