What up??

I need some help setting up my ish..

I have a Behringer 1204fx mixer, mpc1000, Ozone audio interface, dj mixer and TT1200M3D...

I want to run everything through the mixer but don't know what goes where...

On the back of the mixer, there are 3 sections...Control Room Outs 1+2, Alt 3-4 bus, and Main Outputs(three pin connection).
I currently have the dj mixer and TT going through Rec In on the MPC.

Also, I want to slave FL6 through the MPC...any suggestions??

i dont think you'll need two mixers unless you have two turntables....although you say you have the table going into record IN so i guess you're using it for something.

anyway, looks like all your really workin with right now is the mpc and your turntable. thats pretty easy. just run each piece of gear into its own channel. if you want the mpc to be stereo, run the MPC Main Outs into its own channels (i.e. out L into channel 1 and out R into channel 2)...then when you get more stuff, you can run the other things into their own channels.

do you have any monitors or speakers to hear with? i use my control room outputs and the left out goes to my left speaker and the right out goes to my right speaker. if you use the control room outs, you probably have a switch on the mixer that lets you listen from the control room outs.

as far as syncing FL, you need a midi interface for your computer. then setup the mpc and FL to send/receive midi signals

I have a dj mixer and a Behringer 1204fx( 12 input 2/2 bus mixer, not a dj mixer)
I want to run everything through the Behringer mixer. I have a midi interface with the Ozone keyboard. It is also an audio interface, midi capable, and it syncs w/ FL through usb.
I have monitors(not active) which hook up through my stereo receiver.
I used to have it like this....
Ozone to comp via usb, dj mixer to TT out to Ozone, Ozone out to stereo receiver.
Now I want to incorporate the Behringer 1204fx and the MPC1000 into my setup, but I still want to use FL also.
Sorry if i wasn't clear on my first post....

I have the same mixer without the FX. Here's how I have it hooked up:

1. Run cables(trs-trs) from the Alt 3/4 outs to the ins of your soundcard.

2. Run cables(trs-trs) from the outs of your sound card to channel 7/8.

3. Run cables(trs-trs) from the control room outs to your speakers.

*you can use the main outs instead of the Alt 3/4 outs, but as you see you'll need xlr-trs cables because of the connection.


Now you can plug the Mpc or any device into any channel you desire. Just make sure you press down the mute Alt 3-4 button to here what's on that channel if you use the Alt 3/4 outs.

I have a question, becasue my soundcard is not that good, I use the MAudio Ozone for my audio Interface. It has
MIDI OUT USB/KEYBOARD, MIDI IN, Stereo IN, Instrument IN(cH2), Outs 1+2. How do I hook up the Main OUts and the INs of the soundcard (Ozone)?

I don't know much about the Maudio ozone, so i looked it up and it looks just like a soundcard within the midi controller. I use the Delta 44, but it should work the same.

1. run 1/4 cables from the alt 3/4 to the ins

2. run 1/4 cables from the outs of the ozone to the ins of channel 7/8

3. then depending on your speakers....run 1/4 cables or 1/4-rca cables to your speakers.

I don't have nice monitors so I have to use 1/4-rca cables.

When all that is hooked up, just usb your ozone to your computer and you should be good to go.

I just ordered the Edirol FA-101 audio interface cause the Ozone doesn't have enough ins and outs. Hopefully, this will help.
