Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I don't f*ck with none of those envelope sh*ts- What the **** does it do anyway?

The NV Slider. I don't even know if that $h*t works. I turn it on and the damn sample only changes once and stays there even when adjusted.

Locator buttons. F*ck dat....

Looping..... F*ck dat

Parameter copying. How the f*ck you undo that $h*t?

Recording Mixer changes. Never tried...

I think that's about it...

Those "envelope sh*ts" are important if you have choppy sounding samples you want to smooth them out or if your sample is to bright and you need to tone it down with filtering. Try them out, I promise they wont bite-cha!

I agree with most of the others you posted though.

Ron, u are missing out on some stuff that can open up new doors, make production easier and possibly more fun..

Don't close your mind on stuff man, experiment with every function at least twice..

i never use the digtal outs , spdif's i mean. i fool'd with it some time back now i have just never got around to using it again, i truly have no need as the 8 outs where installed, but there was something aboutr the quality of the signal, coming out thru there as opposed to the 8 outs, i recon the spdif had a polished sheen to the sound, and better low end..

I prefer the data wheel. It allows finer tuning in my opinion (shift + < ) :D

http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Bpmcalculator/

Just tap the space bar to the tempo of the sample and it gives you the BPM.

Extreme time saver!!

Just Tap the TapTempo button on the mpc to the tempo of the sample and u wont need a computer

Your an idiot. Sell your MPC and Go download fruity loops. Nah im just fukin wit you.

BUt this what I reccommend. One night just sample mad shyt into your mpc. UNHOOK ALL MIDI CONNECTIONS. and use your mpc as a standalone with the manual. I guarentee you will fall in love all over again.
