how do you guys record finalized product???

hey, curious to know what programs you guys use to put your final cut on cd. I've been resampling final stuff to the computer, and the sound is a lot lower than what has been recorded. thanks a lot.

Instead of resampling jus record straight to the computer. I dont use software like that but there are a great number of recording programs to use for final mixing.(e.g. Protools, Cubase, ect...)

I'm a newbie so would u just please explain the steps of recording to a software program like Cubase? Is it like soloing and playing each track from the MPC via midi out and recording it as an audio track in Cubase? Is that the general idea? Pls explain, thanks...hope I dont get stick for an obvious answer to you pros but i'm a newbie so cut me some slack. Thanks.

Thanks, is this the ONLY and general way MPC users track to final mix? Are they any other options? Pls briefly explain this not so effective"resampling " process.

its via stereo out instead of midi out right? thx.

well, i can tell you how i do things.

i record everything into my delta 66 two main "sounds" at a time, ie kick and snare - 1 panned far left, the other far right, essentially multitracking.

you can use wahtever outs on your mpc you want, or even just the internal recorder....but really it depends on how you want to do things.

you can't realy just record your mix hot off the mpc and call it a day - the mpc is an instrument...it's not mastering software.
