Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

What's up to everyone on this forum. I've been posting for a while, listening to tracks - I gotta say people are up to some creative things on around here, keep it up.

I gotta little problem. My buddy's floppy drive on his mpc2000 broke and he's trying to load an o.s to the zip (scsi) drive. I have v1.7 on my machine. Is there a way to copy the o.s onto the zip disk? When I try to copy the disk, it tells me to insert a floppy...anyone know how do this? Thanks.

Hey Family,

I am not sure but I do know that Floppy drives are not expensive he may want to buy a new floppy drive they are standard and can be replaced

Hope this works for you or you find a way to get around this

Okay, I'm an idiot. Just had to copy it from the SCSI device screen, not the floppy device screen.
