which of u out there are makin beats MPC 1000 stand alone? Just a turntable and the 1000. and if u do have some put a link to ur soundclick or something, i wanna hear if ya got heat.

Yeah I only use the mpc stand alone with a turntable I sample stuff from dvd and vhs to.You don't have to spend 10 000$ to make some descent beat know your gears and be creative with it!

cool, the people that could make music on just a mpc 1000 are the true producers to me.

hahahahhaahahah since when is a musician judged by the equipment he uses...?

as if learning to operate/learning to operate/learning to implement more equipment is EASIER than just sampling from records...

not that music made by just mpc and record can't be sick, but that's the person, not the tools. if you wanna say that you prefer no synths, that's fine, but when it comes down to it say a guy uses ableton live5 for sampling with his mpc. you'd never know the difference from hearing it.
