how to burn .wav´s on cd

hi folks,

i´d like to know how to burn .wav files on cd... ?!

burn a data cd. put whatever files you want on it

i already did this, but the MPC 2000 doesn´t read the Ish....

oh you want to load them into the mpc. if you search you may be able to find the other threads about this. i havent read much about it, but aparently the files or cd or something has to be in akai format or something?

i dont know...also, if the .wav files are in a folder on the cd, the 2000 wont read it. it cant read folders. but there's other threads about this that might help you.

when using the search function, i think you have to use the word AND in between each word your searching for. that will really narrow down your searches.

2k classic can't read regular ole wav cd's. they need to be in an akai format.

So therefore what you are trying, will not work without being in an akai image formatted cd..

yeah lamp is right.the best thing to do is just sample the sounds in.

now lamp,will the xl load wav. directly from cd???

Yes, this is one of the advantages of the XL over the classic.

hi, it´s me again... so i just finished installing the trial version of chicksys application.. Translator Sampler looks very easy but isn´t that izi, as i thought.. i don´t have any clue, how i convert a wav. sample into .akp... also i can´t choose the MPC2000 format.. i anybody knows how u get started with this tool, pls let me know...

yes, str8 from data cd burned on computer, no special akai format needed.
Like pt3r said, that's the ticket over the classic 2k.
