Syncing Pt.2

Yo guys I have a few more questions. I finally got the MPC syncing up with my keyboard but the sounds from the keyboard are spread across my MPC. There is a sound on each pad. I dont want the keyboard sounds on each pad until I'm ready to assign them to a pad. I only want to play the keyboard sounds over drum patterns on the MPC. Thanks"Chef"

On the main screen right below the track number is the track source. This can be set to DRUM1 thru DRUM4 or MIDI. When set to DRUM1 thru DRUM4 the pads will trigger the internal sounds (sounds inside the MPC). When it is set to MIDI it will trigger the sound on the MIDI channel (A1 thru B16) which is set just to the right of the source.

Also, when the source is set to DRUM1 thru DRUM4 you can also make it output both the sound from the MPC and the sound on the MIDI channel! The field just to the right of the source field can ALWAYS be set to a MIDI channel!

I had to figure all of this out yesterday when i hooked up my module for the first time... The manual came in pretty handy...
