The NV Slider. I don't even know if that $h*t works. I turn it on and the damn sample only changes once and stays there even when adjusted.

Locator buttons. F*ck dat....

Looping..... F*ck dat

Parameter copying. How the f*ck you undo that $h*t?

Recording Mixer changes. Never tried...

I think that's about it...

You have absolutely NO clue as to what your MPC can do...you should just sell it...You're obviously not using it....

Whateva son. So you might as well sell your appendix and 85% of your brain. It is scientifically proven that you're not using it..... so they say....

Don't close your mind on stuff man, experiment with every function at least twice..

You might be right, Lamp. I find myself stuck in the mindset of "How would Marley do this back in 86?" or "How would Prince Paul back in 88 freak this sample with no timestretch or filter?" I guess I'm old school like real MCs and dirty beats.

Are you implying that I'm lying???? You don't have a clue as to what those features do...It ain't whatever...I just call it like it is...You're underusing your MPC...that's cool and all, do you, but I'm just letting you know that you could be doing alot more...

I dont normally get too involved in these topics but i think i need to make myself more known on this forum.

There is a whole load of things that i dont use on the mpc. A good reason for that is that i have never felt the need to use them befor. If your making nice beats without using these features why complicate the music making process...

A lot of the features that you find on the mpc are a lot more easier to implement using a computer.

tap tempo to get bpm can be done automatically with bpm analysis software.

Chopping samples can be done more intuitvly and quickly using computers.

i must admit the one feature that i do like that has opened a new world up is the filters. very useful feature.

But thats is good for me but just because your not using that feature does not mean that you have to use it.

I do notice that everyone seems to like to dirty their beats up a huge ammount, lots of hiss crackle and pop, i prefer cleaner sounds, the party style beats that everyone seems to love to hate.

but back on topic, some of the additional features are a distraction to music making other features are just second ways of doing things.

i read on here how to use the slider to chop samples, after trying the feature out for a couple of minutes i was back to using th data wheel.
much more intuitive.

i understand. i chop my samples on the computer in audition. its much faster. i still chop in the mpc, but im so damn used to audition that its all i use to chop now. i hate tap tempo lol it never comes out right. but i do think that everyone should explore EVERY option it has for you. wether you'll use it or not. you never know when you might need it. its good to be able to know what tool you can use to solve your problem. it could be right under your nose the whole time! :)

Jackass, i mean jackpot,

you still dont understand do you. How old are you, you sound like a little kid right now. Have you even graduated.

You must be a little flowers, you probably had a whole load of dik in your mouth.

When you typed that shit you was probably sucking on your daddys dick at the time. Why you so mad, daddy used to beat you and make you do things you didnt want to.

Did all his drunken friends used to come around and you would wake up and find these men in your room all lubed up with vasaline.

Is it still happening to you right now.

you can get help, just call 1-800-IM-GET-GANG-RAPED-BY-MY-DADDY-AND-HIS-FRIENDS.

So Jackpot, i think you need to get back to daddy cause i think his friends are home. "wake up jackpot you got 40 dicks to deal with"

Hey,

I am not on here to make music im on here to discuss music, but when a jackass starts to talk shit i dont play.

Jackass wanted to start some sh$t so im just responding as this is a discussion board.

But I hear you on that. But people need to show some respectr for other members and when they dont show respect, then no disrespect they gonna get disresprected in a way.

So jackass when you read this. keep your mouth shut oh shit its gonna be a bit hard for you to do with you daddys dick in your mouth.

Good thing you can type and suck dicks at the same time.

I bet you had a couple of fat ones in your mouth when you typed that shit last time.

I wish I knew everything there was to the mpc. Had mine for like 5 years yet I'm still studying to master it.
