so, whos gonna be the first to paint they 2500?

i'm not looking to sell this thing, ever. if it breaks, i'll fix it. if i feel like changing the paint again, i'll sand it off and do it again. i may buy a 2500 someday, if i ever feel like i need the extra midi outs, but this thing has everything i need.

and, in fact, it WAS a do it yourself with a can of spraypaint, good guess!!!!

i also like the fact that with no text, other muhfuccas cant just jump on the mpc and think they know what they doin. thats my sh*t haha

nothing makes me madder than when some hotshot tries to impress his girlfriend by putting his greasy fingers on my mpc...no lettering will hopefully intimidate him away from it.

I probably will paint the sides of my 2500 red but only after I put the red pads on it. It probably will be a while before I do it but I will post pics when I do. I have a feelin' that someone is going to beat me to doing the red pads/red sides thing so if they do, please post pics so that i will know what it will look like.

Yo the 2500 looks she bo**ox anyway, no need to custom, not until they make a better looking one anyway and its time to compete, i was just wondering how many people have the 2500, i have one, and my friend does, but dont know anyone else. Forat could prob do a sick job with the 2500, oh and something i found somwhere and il try and find it again, but this guy somehow did a scan of his mpc and printed it on an accetate, text only mind, so when he customed it himself, and had cut the holes out of his accetate, he placed it over his mpc, just incase he forgot what a button did or somethin, i thought that was a good idea.

One thing i havent seen yet, is a backlight change? red backlight on mpc25? ooooooo now thats what i want. anyone who knows if its possible, hit me!

Do you mean on the display?

I'd like a white backlight on the display and to make the other buttons that flash red (mode, 16 levels, bank etc) bright white like the window button.

Did the 2000xl have a white screen? If so would it be a straight swap for the 2500?

they all look bare tacky and cheap, the only one that looks nice is the dark red mpc with wood sides.

I think that 1000 is great. I would like to get that acid crap people use in faux finishing of lamps and what not and really degrade the look of my 1000. Looks like it came out of the backseat of Mad Max's Dune Buggy.

Most of that forat stuff is uninteresting and boring. Kudos to the industrial style MPC.

Except the silver SP1200 Me likey that one. Also the mics are cool , although I might give Bruce a run for his money with my Bedazzler.
