I've been lurking here for a while... I started making beats about a year ago, but I have a P3 933 computer with XP and 128RAM (make a joke!) so the software just hasn't been cutting it and I've wanted one for a long time, so I finally made the investment!
Thanks to this forum I got my 1000 BK up to date and ready to go. Haha I didn't realize the thing was so complex... I had this vision of loading it up and being right up to speed but it's like I have to learn things a whole different way than what I'm used to!
Basically I've got two questions: Is there a way to get a hard copy of the 2.1 instruction manual? I dont want to print out 120 pages on my printer and I took the .pdf to officedepot and they said there was an error and it couldn't print.
Two, with all the problems I've read about the pads, if they go out is it something I am going to be able to control, or will it happen either way? I seem to have developed a fondness for punching the pads pretty hard but I'm scared I'm creating a headache for myself later on.
