I don't think anyone has disagreed with the rules I posted up. I say we make a date and people will come!

I do believe mild use of echo and reverb should be allowed!:-) whatever producer does not use either, you're REALLY missing out on your sound...

add that, mixing board techniques aloud(can't just say"minimal" gray areas won't work gotta be black+white wit rules, so i guess i'm bein a hypocrit since mild is mild lol)....

how about start the shit up saturday the start, and have entries be entered by saturday night, wherein sunday the judging will begin(when most people areh ome anyway...) or have things due on sunday.

start it up do it biweekly. if it gets enough people, have an entry thing of like $1, and whoever wins gets the $ ...

things will be done anonymously... I'll try and find a site that'll allow uploads with randomized names. this way you're juding based on talent not name...

Sounds good. If you can't find that site I can just upload all the beats onto soundclick and name them Beat 1, Beat 2, etc. Like I said I could in my post.

I think the rules Grimay came up with are fine. We should just use those for now.

I think we should do what we did on the SP forums tho.

Beats need to be submitted by Sunday night at 10PM est. Voting starts at 12am Monday morning, and continues until sometime on Saturday, probably Saturday mid-day sometime. We should have one person recieve all the beats and upload them. Grimay said he's up for that so we should get his email addy and everyone should send him their entry by Sunday.

Feel free to revise. Also Grimay, if u dont wanna upload the beats, I don't mind doing it. I was gonna run this on the SP forum with DFACE anyway, but its up to you really.

After we do agree on something tho, we need to start a new topic with the rules and everything, so people know whats up and will submit their beats to the correct spot.

Yo... definitely looking forward to this battle. I dont own a 60, so I'll be peepin' it as a spectator.

But anyway, I'd like to buy a 60 one of these days. Even though it has it's limitations compared to the later models, I can't resist the sound and the build quality
