NEED HELP

I JUST GOT MY MPC 1000 AND I WAS TRYIN TO LOAD THE OS I WENT TO THE WEB SITE FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND THEN AS I WAS FORMATING THE COMPACT FLASH CARD THE SCREEN WENT BLANK IT WHATS UP WITH THAT

i was having similar trouble with the memory card when i got my mpc....i resolved it by just formatting the card on a palm computer, give it a try...

is there a another way cause i don't have a palm computer

some pc have place for this type of memory card, maybe there you can format it.

can't do that when i take the cf out it still does not do anything

Did you try initializing your mpc?
Turn it on while holding ERASE
