Hey I just got an MPC 3000 with a floppy drive in it, however, I want to replace it with a zip drive, because my last MPC 3000 had a zip installed, so that's all I need in it. Any instructions on how to install it without messing it up? Also, what is a good brand of zip to buy to install for it? Thanks for your help.

You need some adapters (25 pin SCSI to 50 Pin SCSI), a SCSI cable and a Iomega internal Zip drive.

the way that they show on midicase is very bootleg. I had mine like that and it crashed. I sent it out to forat cause I had to get other stuff done and bruce laughed at how it was set up. he said that because of hoe its secured in there if there to much movement the adapter could hit the board and short curciut it. if you dont move it than it should be ok I guess.
