So I went diggin the other day and the owner of my favorite record shop had a pt-01 layin in the corner brand new. Well Ive never seen one before (Yeah Im late). But to make a long story short. He sold it to me for $40. This thing is like the diggers greatest tool ever. I was realy impressed with the sturdiness and sound quality through the headphones. It also sounds great plugged up directly into the mpc. I now got a pre production setup in the bathroom right next to the toilet.

PS
If your a sampler this is a must have item.

yeah i've had 2 they both died on be... fried em! numark dj products have terrible quality in my opinion. wich really sucks cause otherwise i love the products... 40 beans is a crazy good price though.. i'd pick another up for that.

40 bucks is fresh price son. good pick up there. i take mine wherever i go. sometimes at homies parties i pull the hting out the trunk and just go through thteir crates and just play shi throught heir stereos and klivin gup the parties wihtt hat good old p fnk shit. nice tool i'd say. the battery life is dope too. i've had mine for like three months and have only put one set of batteries in it. i barely use the adapter. shit is nice too. peace

i know this is about the pt-01 but ive had numark ttx decks for 2 years and they are proving to be better than any other table ive ever used. i use em for heavy scratching and mixing. ive used the newest vestax, the industry standard technics, and stanton tables and none of them touch the ttx in my opinion.

I bought my PT01 two weeks ago - now I never go digging without it, and it saves me from SO many bad records. Seriously, it will save you a lot of money on every dig and ensure that you get the records you want.

<quote "ive had numark ttx decks for 2 years and they are proving to be better than any other table ive ever used.">

? 2 years ... i've had my 1200's for about 5 and they were used when i got em. not a single problem. hove 2 other friends who've had tt 200, tt 500 and ttx's and every one of em has had either a burnt resistor, burnt out motor, or problems with the brake... not to be soundin like an ass to ya but 2 years is hardley long enough to say that they would be the best yet build wise.... like i said it sucks though cause i love the functionality of numark. i'll prolly either get another pt01 if the price is low enough to warrant it, or just get the vestax. (though the numark has some nice features i prefer over the vestax... i don't wanna get another lemon maybe this time i'll look into a better warranty)

I went through 4 cross faders in as many weeks on my old numark mixer. I know qbert or someone else could do the same but this was when I was first getting started. I'll never buy Numark products again because of it. I like my vestax.

I think the older TTXs suffered from problems but as far as i know the latest batch with the adjustable torque are much better.

I had a pair of numark TT-100s as my first set of decks and they're still good now.

I've since upgraded to Stanton STR8-150s and they're awesome.

But back on topic, i'm looking to get one of these portable tables too, just can't decide on the numark or the vestax handytrax
