Cuz think about this: say you set up a click track in reason, then sequence the synth line loop (4 bars or whatever) in reason. as long as it's set to the same tempo as your MPC sequence, you can export that synth line from reason as a .wav file to your desktop. once it's there, just drag it onto your MPC via USB. you won't even need to trim it or anything once its on the MPC; it's a perfectly cut loop already. no signal quality loss, no external hardware, just pure chewing satisfaction.

You can do this or, save your sequence as a .mid file in the MPC then import it to reason. Solo the track and simply export the loop as a wav file.

As far as sampling into the MPC, just hook your soundcard up to the record in's. but why do that when you can export it as a wav?

the thing is that i dont like recording and exporting it to wav takes hella long , tha way i want it to do is best for me cuz thats how i do all tha time with my roland keyboard and works way better , and i want to do it tha same way with reason.

I see. All you would need to do is plug your soundcards output into the MPC. You will prolly need adaptors to do it. Which ones depend on you sound card. What size is your soundcard output?

well i dont got a soundcard , but im goin to buy this and tell me if it works , i think it is a soundcard but its called the m-audio mobilepre and it has 2 1/4 out puts too hook it and a usb to tha cpu , you think that would record tha way i want it to be to the mpc in the analog mode where you do sampling from ?

yes, the MPC can record from any soundsource with 1/4 connections.

sorry to pull you up on this seatown, cos you'r obviously a smart guy, but in your original post, you said you liked the sounds in reason. now you're saying you don't have a soundcard. How in the holy sh*t christ are you hearing these sounds?

and if it take's you so long to export a loop to a .wav the you must be running reason on way underpowered machine.

but still this guy is retarded, if he wants to go through all the hassle of going to the shop, buying a soundcard and the required cables, driving home, setting up to recording into the MPC, getting his levels right, triming the sample to the right length, etc

or just right click and "export loop"

lol if i had a soundcard i would.ve said that , but i have my midi keyboard hooked to reason and thats how i get the sound , thats wut i meant .

you have a soundcard
if you have anything on your computer you can plug speakers or headphones into,
you have a soundcard.

lord lord lord boy you have some learning to do if you're at all interested in making music...

let's give him the benefit of the doubt here. he claims not to have a soundcard (as in a PCI card or even any external intefrace). chances are that his computer has integrated sound on the motherboard, as with all newer pc's. he can still use that for the time being, even though it's not so good, cosidering latency problems.

AGP sound is still a sound card, even if it's not PCI...
