BRAND OF CABLES YOU USE WITH MPC ......

Hey people just curious what "brand of cables" do you use to sample with and/or transfer midi data with (midi cables) what have been your results with this brand ...downside/upsides.... also state what MPC you have equipment....etc

Hosa RCA cables with silver connects.


Equipment: MPC 2500 and along with the usual suspects that everyone else uses that has dreams of being the next Kanye, Just Blaze, Dr Dre, Neptunes, Lil Jon, Bomb Squad, LA Posse, Kwame, DJ Mark the 45 King, Kay Gee, etc

I use all MONSTER cables except for the HOSA snake I have that will be replaced with a MONSTER snake wire also.

I will use whatever it takes to get the job done in best way in the smallest amount of time. =)

If you are making a living off your studio - downtime is not an option.

I use Livewires by Hosa because they are cheap, do the job, have a lifetime warranty, and can be found at most Guitar Centers.

I will slowly upgrade to Mogami cables when the budget allows.

All the excitement being a MPC newbie got to me! =)

But in way, since I don't have to load a cd anytime I want to find a program that I like, it's good to know my sound library literally is at my fingertips

is anyone using the digital in/out on there 2500? if so what brand of cables are you using?

for digital i use a Proel 75 ohm digital coaxial cable.
