nope ..... but he makes good music so i wont think that its a bad allbum but i have been runin in to his stuff moe and more but havent seen this yet soon tho, if you cop it letus know how it is

Neva seen it...whats the year on it... that would give some of us an idea of what style/era this Ayers LP is...Roy equals Phatt Booty Breaks
wouldnt drop 50 on it though

It is from 1983. The first release on his own Uno Melodic label. I heard some of it a long time ago. Good, but not up there with his classics from the '70s.

YEAH I GOT TO AGREE WITH YOU FEATHER BOY, I GOT SOME 83 STUFF OF HIS IT'S NOT THA GREATEST I PERFER THE 70'S STUFF MORE MYSELF TOO.. I DIDNT KNOW THE YR ON THIS ONE OR HAVE NEVER SEEN IT EITHER BUT IF IT'S 80'S I'LL PASS ON IT.

What's even funnier is that someone would pay real money for that.
Roy released that album twice first in 1983 as "Lots Of" and then again in 1988 as "Drive".
Drive was on Ichiban Records.
Either way is easy to find and cheap to find.
The difference is that by the 80's Ubiquity members were other places so many of the people who helped Roy's sound had moved on.
Like Byron Miller and Ricky Lawson both were with Duke and helped him transition to funk.
Philip Woo was with Maze helping to give Beverly those grooves that made them famous.
Edwin Birdsong was solo making his own psychadelic funk.
Not to mention others.
So Roy got caught up trying to do pop, trying to do jazz, just trying to sell a record.

Then again you can find something to use in any LP if you work hard enough, but that's not a $50 LP.

i got a few reocrds of his from the 80's that i got in a few lots that i bought for 10 bucks but i wouldnt buy anything from roy in the 80's he deff lost the love for the music he was maken in the 70's.

he's still dope but not feelin his 80's music tho.

Probably has multiple accounts or getting friends driving the price up.
H*ll for about $150 you could probably get Roy to perform for you. :lol: :lol:

Roy is the shit! I most of his albums realistically he gell off about 79 with Fever for solid albums...I but this just to complete my collection tho for a dolla

Some bit are useable but it's the crappy eighties electric snare overload that spoils it!!
