Anyone familiar with this multitrack software? I heard it is the new wave not only is it "better" than Pro Tools ( I'm sure that is just a matter of opinion ) but it can also read Pro Tools files not to mention it works with any interface.
Any info would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have nuendo 2 latest version .
I use it to track my beats from the mpc thru a delta audiophile

But I have to say, Its a steep learning curve.

as far as being better than protools.... I could not tell you that because I never touched protools. no need for it :) But i have heard that nuendo can be on par with protools.

nuendo is very expensive ,like 1200 US dollors but you can get the new sx2.0 for like half the price .Nuendo and sx are the same "engine wise" but nuendo has more video features. the only reason I bought nuendo is because I know some day I will need to add music to videos in the near future.

If you dont plan on doing any video scoring then just get sx 2.0

i have nuendo 2 myself. I cant say if its better then the pro tools TDM but i know its better then pro tools le. I dont find it hard to learn. It has more to off then pro tools le so you have more to learn and understand. I do own a pro tools le software/hardware so i know what im talking about cause sometime i runn into them people who would like the beat to be able to be transfer to a TDM system. I cant really go back to pro tools once i learn nuendo. Some say pro tools is real easy and it is but thats because there are alot of other things left out that a user would know about. Plus alot of people get pro tools le and dont even have a great computer to runn a program like that. Nuendo 2 to tax your computer but not like pro tools. Over all im happy with it cause it works for me.
